r. Build and Release Engineer

·         Experience in software engineering methodologies, release engineering and configuration management in any SCM Tool.

·         Experience with Clear Case mandatory.

·         Experience with  other  CM Tools.  

·         Expertise with Perl scripting (mandatory) and Shell scripting (desirable)

·         C, C++, Java, JSP programming knowledge desirable

·         Experience with common build tools – Ant, make, maven, MKS Toolkit, etc

·         Make files: experience in debugging and changing them, especially for large systems.

·         Familiarity with common UNIX distributions (Linux/Solaris/HPUX/AIX).

·         Awareness of setting up compiler options for different platforms

·         Experience in working with Install Shield, Install Anywhere desirable

·         Experience with making software releases and managing escrow.

·         Experience liaising with groups of people across several geographies.

·         Excellent communication and time management skills
